This course serves two purposes:
- To show you what it takes to build a Pocket Business for yourself
- To help you understand if it’s something that you want to do
This course will provide you with the foundation needed to take off on your own and build a Pocket Business. But understanding is the easy part.
Everyone can understand.
Very few can execute and that’s why this course is free because I don’t want you to believe that the thing holding you back is knowledge.
After all of these years of helping people build Pocket Businesses I can tell you that knowledge and skill are almost never the reason for failure. It always comes down to can you get out of your own way.
If I tell 100 people that red is the perfect color for your sales button (I have no clue if it is) then 99 people will fret over the right shade of red while 1 person will choose the first red that they find and move forward.
I don’t know if you’re going to be the 1 person or the 99. Unfortunately, that’s not my call.
Just know it’s in you to follow what’s in this course and to make it happen.
Strategy vs Tactics
A lot of what you’ll see in this course is strategy while most people want tactics. What’s the difference?
Let’s use basketball as an example. The strategy of basketball is to score more points than the other team.
Tactics are how you do that.
The strategy never changes, but tactics change all of the time and this is why people struggle so often with building an online business.
They continue to look for tactics without understanding the strategy that they are trying to implement. That’s why you see people say they are doing everything right but nothing is working.
However, if you understand the strategy then you can choose the tactics that you want to apply and even better, you can problem solve when things aren’t going well.
Because I hate to break it to you.
Building an online business isn’t like building IKEA furniture. Everyone can follow the same 13-step manual but every step will work differently for each person.
Those who understand the strategy can make adjustments. Those who only want the tactics tend to struggle.
Keep this in mind as you go through this course and you’ll do fine.
Experience Is the Best Teacher
The only reason I’m able to create this course is because I’ve failed.
A lot.
I’ve also helped 1000s of other build their pocket businesses so I’ve seen up close why some people win and most people lose.
The reason why things don’t work can always be traced back to the same few principles that you’ll learn in this course. There are no exceptions because these principles are Universal.
You either do them or you don’t.
There is not kind of do them and kind of don’t.
There Are No Limits
The final point before we begin is that when it comes to your Pocket Business there are no limits.
If you want to make $100,000 a year then follow the principles in this course. If you want to make $1,000,000 a year then follow the principles in this course.
You decide how far you want to take this thing and that’s the true beauty of building a Pocket Business. You are the limiting factor. Not your boss who says they’re only allowed to give you a 3% raise.
But most importantly, all of this is setup to show you how you can do it all on your own.
