It’s easy as an entrepreneur to imagine that there is an end point. You build your business up to a certain point and think that’s the game.
But it doesn’t work like that.
You have to continue to grow.
Now, this is where you might argue with me because in your head you just need to make a certain amount of money and you’re good.
That’s not what I’m talking about.
What I’m talking about is your growth as a person and a Guide.
If you stop learning then what’s going to happen? At some point your business is going to stop growing and if it’s not growing it’s shrinking.
It’s important to understand that business is about momentum and if you can’t keep momentum going forward, then momentum is going backward.
So what are you doing to continue to grow as a leader?
Because that’s what you are, right?
Even if you don’t want the responsibility you have to understand that the leaders of the industry are the ones that continue to grow as people and that growth can only lead to good things.
The last thing you want is to get to a level, stop growing, and then one day wake up that 20 other people have passed you and your Hero is paying attention to them.
If the Hero wants to continue to grow who will they turn to? The person that is going to continue to grow themselves.
